Description
2001 Ferrari 360 Spider Manual powered by the 3.6L V8 producing 395 bhp
The Ferrari 360 is a mid-engine, rear wheel drive sports car manufactured by Italian automotive manufacturer Ferrari from 1999 until 2005. It succeeded the Ferrari F355 and was replaced by the Ferrari F430 in 2004. Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new all-aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than its predecessor's which had utilized steel. The design was 28% lighter despite a 10% increase in overall dimensions. Along with a lightweight frame the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilizes a 3.6-litre capacity, a flat-plane crankshaft, and titanium connecting rods, which produces 396 bhp.
The example which we are presenting her today was originally delivered to Germany back in 2001, where she was purchased by her first owner. Her second owner took loving care of her from 2004 until 2007 before being acquired by her 3rd and current Belgian owner. Being an Italian who moved to Belgium, it was a lifelong dream to own a car of this iconic brand and since purchasing her in 2007 he has taken very good care and done the service himself. She comes with all of the books, torch and toolkit. Being a manual and having a Capristo exhaust, she is the perfect companion for any petrolhead.
The first thing you will notice is the striking Ferrari red paintwork which is for 90% original. Her front bumper was changed in 2005 to the rare Novitec bumper. She also comes with xenon headlights which are currently not fitted. Being a spider, you can enjoy her Capristo exhaust even more. Her hydraulic soft top is in great working condition. She is running her original 5 spoke wheels, which add to her period correct style.
Inside you will find an equally as nice interior. Her black leather seats are in great condition and we are happy to report that she does not have sticky buttons! But her best feature has to be her gated manual shifter. Her gearbox is a smooth shifting example which is mated to the wonderful 3.6L V8 engine. The combination of the flat plane crank V8, the manual gearbox and the Capristo exhaust will put a smile on your face at any occasion. Since the pictures, we have fitted new brake discs and pads all round to ensure optimal braking performance. Her other mechanical parts are in equally good condition showing normal signs of wear. Her last Belgian technical inspection was in 2023 with no advisories.
You can tell that this Ferrari 360 Spider was the pride and joy of the past 3 owners and she is ready for her 4th caring owner. So what are you waiting for? Grab your chance today to own such a stunning example of the iconic Ferrari V8 supercar. But we will warn you that you will fall in love…
