Weighing just 6.46 kg, this exhaust system is thefirst in the world to combine Inconel and Titanium for a V10 engine. The system is fully titanium, with Inconel used for the flexible joints. As these materials cannot be welded together, a unique solution using precision-machined titanium connectors for each pipe was developed.
The dual-bank design is retained to maximize power and torque.
The tailpipes draw inspiration from the latest-generation jet engines—like the Rolls-Royce Trent used on the Boeing 787—to optimize gas flow.
