Description
TR250 – 1968 met Surrey Top-system.
NEVER restored, ... still in the condition of USA import in 1995, 1x rust spot to be found, that's all .... look no longer, you will not find a real one than this one. One owner from 1995
The TR 250 is designed by Giovanni Michelotti as a real designers car, the TR250 was built for the North American market. Price pressures and tighter emission regulations resulted in twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors being fitted instead of the TR5's Lucas fuel injection system. Otherwise it is nearly identical.
The TR 250 is a Giovanni Michelotti designers car, Michelotti was one of the most prolific designers of sports cars in the 20th century. His notable contributions were for Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati and Triumph marques. Born in Turin, Italy, Michelotti worked for coachbuilders, including Stabilimenti Farina, Truimph, Vignale, Allemano, Bertone, Ghia, Ghia-Aigle, Scioneri, Monterosa, Viotti, Fissore and OSI. Production a total of 8,484 TR250s were built, many destined for the US and Canada.
More than 1300 TR250s are still viable in the world today. Which make this a very interesting collectors car.
The TR250's engine delivered 111 bhp (81 kW), 39 bhp less than the TR5; 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) acceleration took 10.6 seconds.[2][9] The TR250 was also available with the Surrey Top system.
